Sorry about the stark contrast, but this was taken after sliding to a stop on the gravel road, leaping out of the car and rushing up to grab what photo I could. I was not quite game enough to run across to the sunny side of the line before the train came through. I must have used a fast shutter speed, because my hands were certainly shaking. Oh the joys of train chasing!
