What gender should computers be referred to as?
A computer science professor thought he would try a little
experiment with his class. He divided them up into two
groups, men and women, and asked each group to work out what
gender to use when referring to them.
When the men reported back, they unanimously said that
computers should be regarded as feminine. Their reasons were:

When they speak to each other, they do so in code that no
one else understands.

to spend half your pay on accessorizing them.
